All squash coaching is managed and delivered by our Head Coach Adam Fuller. Adam is one of England’s most highly qualified coaches (High Performance Award) who works across the whole spectrum coaching levels from beginners through to world class professional players. Adam is currently an England Squash Junior National Coach and is very passionate about progressing players, at all levels, along a structured path that is aimed at giving them the squash skills and motivation to realise their full potential.
Adam and his team of experienced coaches run a full weekly coaching programme at the Club for both adults and juniors of all ages and abilities. Junior squash camps are also run during the school holidays.
Coaching is available on a 1-1 basis or in group sessions.

Squash Stars – following the success of our Squash Stars in the Summer we have integrated a Squash Stars session into our Saturday Squash Junior section for the first hour and would encourage more to join us as it is a great way to introduce them to squash. This is aimed at kids aged 6 – 9 years old.
Junior Play – encouraging all players to come to this session with a view to getting integrated into our junior teams if desired. This extended session allows the opportunity for coach support, drills/practices and match play.
Racketball and Women’s Squash – both sessions aimed at getting more people on court so, for a limited time, if you have a friend or know someone who you think might like to try out either session, they don’t need to be a club member.
Improvers – If you are looking for a session for beginners and intermediates from age 9 and upwards then this is an ideal session for you. If you are looking for a weekend alternative, then Saturday squash is your best option.
If you are a Berkhamsted School student attending a Berkhamsted School After School session, there is no charge as it’s a school led session.
There are six weeks in the next half term block with the final week commencing 16th October and the pay Up Front cost for junior players is £42 and for the Elites it’s £60.

The Block Payment Up Front price in the table above will be available for the first two weeks until Sunday 17th September and I would encourage all regular players to take this up as you benefit from a £1.00 discount on the PAYG rate.
Alternatively, if you choose to ‘Pay As You Go’ I would ask that you email or text to let me know, so I can confirm the viability of all respective sessions (I will be in touch if this is not the case). I wish to avoid not booking enough courts and likewise running sessions that are financially not viable after paying the respective coach so please confirm your Group Session place as soon as possible.
(Note: an attendance register is maintained so Up Front payers can request a reduction for more than one missed weeks on the next half term’s Up Front payment.)
All Player members need to continue to book in advance and pay online per session.
Monday night’s Team Training is popular and you will need to continue to book in advance as places will be on a first come ‘Pay As You Go’ basis priced at £10 per session.

If you would like to make a contactless payment (bank card/ smartphone) your coach has access to a Zettle Card Reader to take payment at the club.
In order to play in these box leagues you will need to be a member so that we have you on the system as we will be doing it all online. The format will be that you arrange to play the other players in your league at a mutually convenient time. They will run about every 3 to 4 weeks. We have 3 box leagues and we are looking to grow this so please get in contact if you are interested.
Herts Junior Squash
The county championships this year will be on 23/34th September and following that there will be junior inter club matches. I will be sending out info on behalf on county coach in the near future on county training, local events along with the Herts Squash fixture dates. It would be great to see lots of you enter the county championships and represent Berkhamsted. This event is not just for those that play lots as we are a small sport and are trying to build the sport across the county at all levels.
